ABOUT OPD

Old Port Design was founded by Kelly Galvin, (formerly Kelly Young) Art Director, out of Portland, Maine. Hence the name. Acting as Owner, Creative Director, Account & Project Manager, Lead Designer, etc... Kelly wears a lot of hats. But with a professional background ranging from producing interior print collateral, web design & development, motion graphic design & animation, and even teaching yo-yo tricks to kids, you can't deny she's up to the task.

Along with all these tricks up her sleeve, Kelly recognizes that sometimes more heads are better than one. She's developed a network of tried-and-true reinforcements such as programmers, editors, photographers, web hosts, SEO specialists, marketing stratergists and more that she's proud to call Old Port Design.

Why Old Port Design?

You: “My brother-in-law's cousin's girlfriend's best friend has a computer, she can design my [logo, brochure, website, birth announcement, you-get-the-idea]. Why don't I just have her do it?”

OPD: We know this is what you're thinking. First and foremost, does your brother-in-law's cousin's girlfriend's best friend have years of experience in the design and marketing field? If not, save yourself, your brand and your dignity and contact us for a consultation.

We approach our work with a level of integrity and commitment to quality that you will feel good about passing on. That's our core and it means a lot to us. And don't worry, we understand the value of a dollar and are happy to work with you to stay within your budget.

So we know that you can go have your brother-in-law's cousin's girlfriend's best friend design your [logo, brochure, website, birth announcement, you-get-the-idea]. But just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Besides, do you really think that's best for your business?
